The purpose of our Streetscape Manual is to help deliver improvements to the quality of Hertsmere’s town, district and shopping centres, by providing practical, local guidance for those responsible for the different parts of the public realm. Improvements to these areas enhance local civic pride and can attract people and new businesses into these centres, therefore helping to improve the overall vitality of the centre.
