The Community Right to Bid is included within the Localism Act, which aims to devolve power to local communities. The right to bid gives community groups the opportunity to buy community buildings and facilities that are important to them. To nominate an asset to be considered for inclusion in List of Assets of Community Value please complete a Community right to bid nomination form (DOC, 57KB).

Successful nominations will be placed on the List of Assets Community Value (PDF, 106KB)

Unsuccessful nominations will be placed on the List of Land nominated by unsuccessful Community Nominations (PDF, 421KB)

Hard copies of the two lists are available on request.

Current Nominations

Any new nominations will be determined within eight weeks of the date that they are received. The assets will either be added to the List of Assets of Community Value or the List of Land Nominated by Unsuccessful Community Nominations.
