Health talks and mini health checks are among the activities on offer at a community health fair taking place in Borehamwood this month.
Anyone wanting to learn more about how to improve their health and feel good can attend the Let’s Talk Health Event, organised by us, in partnership with Borehamwood’s GP Practices, on Monday 21 October at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood.
The event will feature a market place with stallholders offering wellbeing information services and advice to the community, such as Herts Health, Communities 1st, Breast Cancer Now, Bowel Cancer UK, Herts Health Walks and many others.
Cllr Paul Richards, Portfolio Holder for Environmental Sustainability and Net Zero and Public Health, said: “This event provides an excellent opportunity to find out about all the health services on offer in the borough and even take advantage of a free mini health check.
“The event is open to all so please come along – there are so many helpful resources on offer!”
There is no need to book, just drop in. Everyone is welcome to the event. For more information please email community.services@hertsmere.gov.uk or call 0208 207 7801.
