Encouraging and enabling our communities to act against climate change is an integral part of our Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy. We are inviting local community groups to come forward with project proposals that can benefit from additional funding.

Small grants of up to £500 is available to local groups from a pool of £10,000. To be eligible, projects must demonstrate climate action within Hertsmere relating to one or more of the following key themes:

  • Energy
  • Transport
  • Waste and resources
  • Biodiversity
  • Local food production
  • Other carbon emission removal/reduction projects
