Instructions on how to pay
There are a number of ways to pay us.
Make an online paymentTelephone:
Call 030 0456 0499
This is an automated telephone payment service, for payments by debit or credit card Monday to Friday.

You will be asked to provide us the following information:
- Invoice number
- Amount to be paid
- Card number
- Card expiry date
You will be given a receipt number at the end of the call (for example TELE 01999999), which is confirmation that your payment has been successfully made.
BACS - (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services)
Details to quote are:
- Account name: Hertsmere Borough Council
- Account number: 90510726
- Sort code: 20-05-03
- Reference number: please quote the invoice number that you are paying, for example 1000123456
Bank
Complete the tear off slip at the bottom of the invoice and present this with your payment at the bank. No charge will be payable if you pay at your own bank branch, or any Barclays Bank in the Hertsmere area.
PayPoint
You can pay cash at participating outlets free of charge. You need to take your barcoded invoice with you, participating outlets will display the 'PayPoint' logo, a list can also be found at www.paypoint.com.
Post Office
Cash and debit card payments are accepted at any Post Office. A charge is payable.
