Sports pitches and courts

A floodlit 5-a-side astro turf pitch is available at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre, Bushey.  For further details please call 01923 470140.
A full size floodlit pitch is available at the Furzefield Centre  Potters Bar. It is also used for six-a-side football and hockey. For further details please call 01707 850500

There are no public bowling lawns in the borough, but there are bowling clubs, Potters Bar and King George's recreation Ground, Bushey.  You can find more on our Sports Club page.

There is a public all weather green at Aberford Community Centre.  These are public facilities; everyone is welcome to play and Communities 1st are able to provide all the equipment you need. Booking is essential.

The borough does not have any public cricket pitches, but there are private clubs - see our Sports Club page .

There are a variety of football pitches across the borough. Bookings must be made in advance.

There are public tennis courts available free of charge at:

• Meadow Park, Borehamwood

• King George Recreation Ground, Bushey

For block bookings or training sessions, a charge will be made and the court will need to be booked in advance.

Aldenham Parish Council and Bushey Grove Leisure Centre also have tennis courts and facilities available.
